Road Safety Awareness

We find it extremely important to spread awareness about road safety, especially among the general public, as traffic rules must be followed for their own safety as well as for the safety of others. Our organization has collaborated with more than 300 colleges. The highlighted points include the consequences a child under 18 years might face if found driving on the road illegally, there is a provision of penalty as well as punishment. No individual should drive without having a license, as it is our core responsibility to take care of our precious life. 

The children are also elaboratively taught about the basics of road safety and the significance of wearing helmets while driving so that they can further help their parents to follow the road safety rules.  

Other than that, we also tend to inform the new traffic rules implemented in India in the current context. 

To make the initiative even more effective we conduct various poster painting competitions, road safety slogan competitions, nukkad drama at street intersections, and debate competitions in various schools. We felicitate and honor the participants by giving certificates.

Legal Awareness Program

We are working since 2017 on human rights. The program was organized by Divyanshi Jan Seva Sansthan in an effort to aware the general public about the judicial activities under the legal awareness program. On this specific occasion, we express our views on the growing atrocities of women in society and elucidate the importance of women’s education, eradication of child labor, literacy campaign, tree Plantation, and environmental cleanliness. Nowadays it is mandatory to teach everyone about their basic human rights and the judicial

outcomes of committing a crime. We also try to create a reconciliation between the public and the police and explained how you can protect yourself from mental harassment, domestic violence, and so on.

Covid Awareness Program

During the Covid-19 outbreak, we’ve consistently organized awareness campaigns among people by performing Nukkad drama at street intersections and giving information about coronavirus and its maintenance and prevention. 

Coronavirus spreads strenuously from person to person through infection. The viral symptoms are mostly ignored as common cough, cold, or fever. So, we promulgated the preventive measures that everyone needs to follow like sanitizing their hands properly, covering their faces with protective masks, and

avoiding contact with people having viral symptoms.

We also tried to spread awareness about different health tips the infected patients need to follow to escalate their chances of speedy recoveries.

Health

  • Blood Donation Camps

The purpose of our blood donation camp is to supply an adequate quantity of blood to save the lives of many due to an increasing need for blood donors with the growing population and advancements in the medical field. Since blood cannot be manufactured in a factory, we are all aware of its value. The human body is the only source. Many people with chronic illnesses and accident victims require blood. We tend to spread 

awareness that how important it is to donate safe blood and how it helps to save lives in times of emergency.

Our members set up blood donation camps and ensure that all the protocols are being followed by the donors. Later on, specific staffs come to pick up the collected blood for their hospitals. We also have some refreshments set up in our campgrounds. These blood samples are sent to several government hospitals where blood is scarce for the underprivileged.

  • Medical Camps

As citizens of this country and most importantly as human beings we must never ignore a sick person trying to seek medical help, the greatest purpose of a man’s life is to serve others and seek solace in their happiness.

The backward and underprivileged sections of our country mostly can’t afford good medical care and so we organize free medical camps every month for the helpless underprivileged people where we provide our best services including general medicine, general surgery, sexual maternity and gynecology, pediatric disease, psychology, and dental disease under the supervision of reputed professional doctors from renowned hospitals. 

For remote villages, we offer food supplies to get their presence and ensure that we provide the best medical attention. In cases of emergency, we take complete responsibility for the patient including medicines and other expenses.

Child’s Education

Some inhuman greedy people constantly oppress the underprivileged children of our country simply because of their selfish needs. The most common example is child labor. Though it is shameful even to think that after so many years of independence, our present leaders couldn’t eradicate its existence of it. But we firmly believe that we can if we genuinely try our best.
To practically implement our ideas, we’ve initiated various ways to help these needy children residing in slum areas.
For improving the conditions, our organization visits small slums or remote village areas and convinces their parents to give us the responsibilities to look after the education expenditures of their children. Our foundation provides them the opportunities to begin or continue their education in good government schools with all the basic facilities of books, and meals without any charges, to develop them mentally and physically.
To uplift the downtrodden children and support their dreams to attain knowledge, we also provide scholarship facilities.
The helpless children who beg near railway stations and open roads are provided with special hobby classes that include skill development trainings like martial arts, dance practice, art & craft, singing, and education so that they can become self-sufficient and figure something out their own.

Women’s Empowerment

Women are an example of elegance and strength in today’s world. There is no profession ever made that women are incapable of. From looking after her loved ones to taking care of financial responsibilities, she needs no validation or assurance about her dos and donts, her aspirations, and her dreams. 

Keeping that in mind, we are moving forward swiftly towards educating them and directing them to their success. For a decade, a woman was the one sacrificing her true self and desires so someone else gets the courage to move forward but

now the time has changed, it’s her era to achieve what she dreamt of and we’ll help her shine from within.

  • Skill Development Training : In today’s generation, it is essential that we focus on creating work opportunities for the unemployed sections. Families having no source of income also hampers the life of their infants unintentionally. Somehow we are responsible for it as for so many years they’ve been ignored and kept in darkness. For us, gender equity is an important factor as we find it necessary to make both women and men self-reliant for all the poor sections of the society, by giving them free training in sewing, embroidery, weaving, zardozi leaf work, candle soap, incense sticks, incense sticks, etc., help them in providing self-employment by setting up small industries. To cooperate in providing self-employment opportunities to youth and women by giving free training in printing, composing books, bidding photography and computer, etc. under higher technical education. Over the years, we’ve sent artisans to popular melas where they sell their products to earn their living. Other than that, their works are sent to different retailers so that they can get a good marketplace to further continue their works. 
    • Awareness Program : It is crystal clear that India needs to be uplifted educationally and to achieve that milestone it is equally necessary to aware citizens of its importance. The focus should solely lie on making the core strong and to do that both men and women should be enlightened especially on the basics of science, history, and civics. Every month, we’ve been successfully conducting educational awareness programs where we educate women about self-defense, laws, and rights, freedom of speech, gender equality, and biological phenomena  (menstruation, intercourse, health benefits, etc.). So far, the ratio of success has been overwhelming and we wish to speak more of the continuous efforts we’ve planned for the future.
    • Beti Bachao Beti Padhao : India is a land of diversity and a country that holds a dark history of severe injustices against women. Even today there are recorded instances of merciless killing and abduction of female infants due to some absurd beliefs.
      To control the current scenarios, we organize social and human rights awareness programs to educate them on how to get government benefits during serious circumstances. Other than that, we’ve special creative workshops for girls. Our organization has also worked on saving the victims of child labor and ways of stopping the inhumane abortion of female infants.
    • Self-defense Program: To cope with the growing violence against women, self-defense skills are extremely important. So, we organize camps in various schools and colleges for women on how they can defend and protect themselves.

Environmental Awareness & Protection

Global warming is a serious threat to our planet, and it is increasing day by day with the growing population. Technological advancement, urbanization, and growing factories have resulted in deforestation, pollution, and natural exploitation. Without trees, life won’t exist on Earth and so we must compensate for the damage we’ve done. Tree plantation is a way to reduce the chances of ecological imbalance and save the species from extinction. Forests are the habitat of animals

and we need oxygen to live which comes from trees. But nowadays people are cutting trees and forests are shedding day by day. This can bring danger to us. Keeping this in mind our organization organizes awareness camps to provide correct knowledge about forest and how to preserve it and why it is necessary for us. 

On this day, our members come together and encourage small children along with their parents to plant a tree individually. 

Hygiene Awareness Program

To educate the villagers about hygiene, DJSS organizes nukkad dramas where we spread informations about cleanliness and informed about the diseases caused by filth. Under the cleanliness campaign, we discussed social etiquette like not writing or messing up on government and national properties by sticking, or holding posters everywhere; the importance of eating covered food items, etc. For the past several years, broadcasting nukkad drama on hygiene has been making people aware to stay healthy.

Stop Child Labor

Even after so many years of Independence, the backward children of some remote villages are victims of Child Labor. They are exploited intentionally by the literate to establish their dominance. Some of the disturbing instances are disheartening to even elaborate on. We’ve seen numerous underprivileged children working as garbage cleaners, in commercial industries, local stray shops, etc. in their crucial young phase when they are supposed to attend schools and learn about Renaissance, scientific evolution, mathematics, literature, art, and so on. 

The worst consequence of this ridiculous ignorant mentality has led to small children losing interest to learn and understand the importance it holds in our lives.

As a charitable trust, we rescue these children, motivate them to begin their educational journey, and take on the possible responsibilities of their academic expenses by providing important books, school uniforms, shoes, and free meals.
In our overwhelming interactions with the children, we came across many talented, creative, and studious ones, so we began our initiative to provide them with a stage where they can showcase their creative sides and uniqueness.

Old-Aged Person WelfareProgram

The percentage of inhumane acts is increasing day by day without any signs of mere regrets and that is extremely disturbing and life-threatening. So many educated youngsters deliberately leave their responsibilities as children for petty reasons and discard their parents all alone. There are numerous examples of poor families leaving their seniors because they are genuinely helpless and can’t afford to bear additional expenditures, as well.
To guide these helpless elders, our organization is constantly working on their welfare so that these abandoned old people can reside safely and securely, without having any second thoughts about their necessities as we will wholeheartedly try to protect them with tenderness and utmost respect.

Wall Painting & Slogan Writing

During our road safety awareness program, we conduct wall painting and slogan writing competitions where we encourage small children to participate and make art out of their imagination mainly with the aim to reach out and educate more people about road safety. 

At last, we choose the best painter and the best slogan writer as the winners and distribute special awards to them. The remaining participants get certificates of recognition for their hard work.  

Sexual Disease Awareness Program

Irresponsible sexual intercourse can lead to serious health issues like HIV/AIDS, Gonorrhea, etc. So proper awareness is extremely necessary, especially for the downtrodden sections, who barely ever understood the dangerous consequences of unprotected intercourse out of immaturity and lack of basic knowledge. These sexual diseases have the power to harm their future progenies through genetic transmission and to stop that, the parents must ensure that they are entirely healthy before planning a baby,
otherwise, the mother can undergo the risk of losing her own life while conceiving the child.
Our organization makes sure that we are elaboratively preaching to every impoverished villager about sexual diseases, and how to prevent them from happening.

Serve Shiksha Awareness Program

Constructing free schools isn’t enough to reduce the percentage of illiteracy in an over-populated country like India because that doesn’t solve the problems of disinterested people lacking the motivation to start again.
So we organize the Serve Shiksha Awareness Program every year with a burning hope inside our hearts that we might be able to motivate the unfortunate innocents to attend school and let us help them to improve their ways of living financially by making them educated and self-reliant.

Yoga Awareness Program

Physical and mental well-being is equally important as the other aspects of life. The growing pollution in big cities is directly resulting in serious health deterioration for most people. So, if we make some time for ourselves away from the continuous hustle and practice yoga, it will be beneficial for our health and will also prevent us from falling sick.
We’ve professional teachers who teach yoga to the underprivileged sections, as they don’t get proper access to necessary health facilities, and also organize yoga awareness programs to further explain the importance and advantages.

Computer Training Program

The world is changing and advancing itself in the blink of an eye and so to equally compete with them we need to enlighten ourselves as much as we can. Technological advancement has touched the skies in so many countries, we need to buckle up and to do so we took the initiative to launch our own Computer Training Center for those who can’t access the advantages even if they want to. So far we’ve trained a couple of localities and some of them have already made a career as teachers, instructors, and even tech experts.
